Very pleased (and momentarily exhausted) after a successful World Triathlon Championships (long distance) in Denmark last month. I came 2nd for GB (age category) and 16th overall (age category).
I managed to stay injury-free during training and the race itself after working closely with the sports physiotherapists based at www.puresportsmed.comon stretching and nutrition advice. As it was a 3/4 Ironman distance, nutrition was important for a strong finish. The stretching helped me avoid proximal hamstring tendinitis which I've struggled with in the past.
